Membership Entitlements and Rules
Memberships are good for the calendar year, January 1, 2010 until December 31, 2010. Members do not pay green fees for regular play or for North Branch Golf Course sponsored events, such as the parent-child tournament. Members still pay all fees associated with playing for tournaments sponsored by outside groups, such as the Winzenread Memorial Tournament. Members receive discounts on range balls, cart rental, and pull carts. Please have your membership card with you, so that North Branch staff can verify your membership when playing. All players, members and non members, MUST ALWAYS CHECK IN AT THE PRO SHOP before starting play.
Drawing for Adult Members
The sign up book is kept behind the bar at the clubhouse. You must ask for it to sign up. The cost of signing up is $1.00, which goes into the pot. Every member that is already signed up for 2010 will be given a number on January 1. Memberships purchased/renewed after that date will not be added to the drawing until they are paid for the year. When it is time for the drawing, a staff member or someone delegated will draw a number of a member. If a member’s number is drawn and they are signed up and are on the premises at the time of drawing, they win the entire pot. If they are signed up and not on the premises, they win half the pot. All members must sign their own name, and sign legibly.
Cart Use Rules
Please always check to see what rules are in effect for cart use.
90 Degree Rule-Most common cart rule. Use path when possible, and cross fairways at 90 degrees to the cart path.
Cart Path Only Rule-In effect after rain or adverse conditions. Carts must remain on the paths at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS!
White Lines-White lines are visible in places where carts should remain on path. This includes around all tees, greens, and par threes. Whether line is visible or not, carts should remain on path in these areas.
